Why not try an electric bike before you buy?

Why not hire one of our electric bikes before buying? Or come along for a free demo ride (advance booking required)

We understand that buying an electric bike can be a big decision and there are so many e-bike systems and bike styles to choose from. That's why we offer a small range of electric bikes for demo and hire so you can experience the different drive systems and frame styles before deciding which is best for you.

If you'd like to arrange a demo ride please call in advance to book a time and date. Let us know what type of eBike you're interested in and we'll make sure that it's charged up and ready to go. Please note that we can offer demo rides outside normal opening hours including Sunday if we have staff available - but please give us as much notice as possible. If you'd like to hire one of the bikes please give us a call so that we can reserve a bike for you and take any necessary details. It may be possible for us to deliver your chosen hire bike but please note that there may be a charge for this depending on distance to deliver and pick up.

One of the neat features on this FreeGo Hawk (and all of the FreeGo range of bikes) is the throttle. The FreeGo Hawk has four levels of assistance and a throttle feature:

You can easily change the assistance level as you ride with the touch of a button. The throttle can be active or disabled with a simple on/off switch. This FreeGo Hawk electric bike has six gears and shifting is done with a trigger shift on the handlebars.

We particularly like the way that the battery is integrated into the frame so the bike looks modern and neat. The only down side with the EMU range is the frame size. It only currently comes in one size and it's only really suitable for taller riders.

The  EMU electric bike has five levels of pedal assist:
